Catalyst Open Source Scholarship Application 2027

Are you studying in a computer-related field? We would like to support you!

At Catalyst, we are committed to supporting more aspiring open source enthusiasts who want to join our industry. We are offering two scholarships, commencing 2027, designed to help you succeed in your studies by reducing the finanical burden, allowing you to have more time to focus on learning.

What’s on offer?

  • $2,000 per years, for up to 3 years, while you are studying full-time at a University, Polytechnic or Wānanga

  • Paid four week internship in Wellington, 11th January to 5th February 2027, to help elevate your CV post-study

Who can apply?

  • If you are a student or oncoming student at either a university, polytechnic or wānanga

  • Studying a computer-related field (IT, Software Development, Cyber Security, Data Science, Computer Engineering, etc.)

  • Any NZ Citizen, or permanent resident, in full-time study
